Baku:Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, held a meeting with the United Arab Emirates' Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Mohamed Bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, during the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition 'ADEX-2026' at the Baku Expo Center.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions focused on advancing military-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE. The meeting highlighted the positive developments in military cooperation achieved in recent years between the two countries.

Mohamed Bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei expressed his appreciation for the organization of the international exhibition and conveyed his positive impressions of his visit to Azerbaijan. He underscored the value of reciprocal visits and meetings, as well as the exchange of expertise.

Both sides exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of military and military-technical cooperation. They also discussed joint military exercises and emphasized the importance of intergovernmental dialogue on defense and security-related matters.
