Baku: Azerbaijan's State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Chairperson, Bahar Muradova, met with Vladanka Andreeva, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, on December 25 as Andreeva concluded her mission in the country. Muradova highlighted Azerbaijan's commitment to working with the UN and its agencies, specifically in areas concerning the rights of women and children, which have played a crucial role in shaping the nation's social welfare policies.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Andreeva emphasized the significance of the experience she gained in Azerbaijan for her forthcoming endeavors. She praised the collaboration between Azerbaijan and the UN and expressed her gratitude for the support she received during her assignment.

The discussions also included talks on the 'Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for 2026-2030,' which was agreed upon by the Government of Azerbaijan and the UN, outlining future cooperation goals.
