Azerbaijan and UN Discuss Future Partnership Framework for 2026-2030

Baku: Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, met with Vladanka Andreeva, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, as she concluded her mission in the country. Both parties engaged in discussions regarding the cooperation between the Azerbaijani government and the UN in relation to the Framework Document on Sustainable Development Cooperation for 2026-2030.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the document is seen as a crucial foundation for a partnership that aligns with Azerbaijan's national priorities and contributes significantly to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly focusing on 'Sustainable Cities and Communities.' Anar Guliyev expressed his gratitude to Vladanka Andreeva for her efforts and constructive collaboration throughout her tenure as Resident Coordinator.

The discussions also highlighted the organization of National Urban Forums in Garabagh and East Zangezur, as well as the productive dialogue that took place in preparation for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum.
