Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, recently met with Moussa Abderemane, the Minister of Finance, Budget and Banking Sector of the Union of the Comoros, to discuss the prospects for enhancing the existing friendly and cooperative relations between the two nations.

According to Azeri-Press News agency, the meeting underscored the significance of strengthening cooperation within international organizations and platforms, highlighting Azerbaijan's active engagement in bodies such as the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Non-Aligned Movement. The dialogue emphasized mutual support and solidarity, with a particular focus on expanding collaboration in the lead-up to the OIC Summit scheduled for 2027.

Both parties acknowledged the importance of advancing ties within the framework of South-South cooperation. Azerbaijan's initiatives to foster partnerships with least developed countries through this platform received commendation during the talks.
