Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, recently met with Mr. Moussa Abderemane, the Minister of Finance, Budget and Banking Sector of the Union of the Comoros, to discuss the advancement of bilateral relations. The meeting, which was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to APA, focused on the enhancement of existing friendly and cooperative ties between the two nations.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions underscored the significance of bolstering cooperation within international organizations and platforms. Azerbaijan's active participation in entities such as the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement was highlighted. Both parties recognized the importance of mutual support and solidarity, and explored opportunities for expanded collaboration in anticipation of the OIC Summit in 2027.
Additionally, the meeting emphasized the value of strengthening ties through South-South cooperation. Azerbaijan's initiatives to enhance cooperation with least developed countries in this context were acknowledged and appreciated, showcasing a commitment to fostering international relationships and development.
