Baku: On April 15, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov met with Rebecca Neff, Senior Advisor at the US Department of State's Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs, and representatives of the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) to discuss the implementation of the Strategic Partnership Charter between the two countries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan shared this information with APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting addressed cooperation in energy and trade, regional connectivity, and economic investment. Both parties considered potential projects in transportation, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and other areas, alongside ongoing work and the involvement of private sector representatives.

The discussions highlighted Azerbaijan's significant role in the region's energy security and the diversification of trade routes within the Middle Corridor. The talks also reviewed the favorable business and investment environment in Azerbaijan and opportunities for establishing new connections.

Additionally, the meeting provided a platform to exchange views on other bilateral issues of mutual interest.
