Baku: The Republic of Azerbaijan and the United States of America are set to collaborate on capacity building in humanitarian de-mining. This cooperation will involve financial support and technology transfer as outlined in the Charter on Strategic Partnership between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United States of America.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the collaboration acknowledges the significant challenges faced by Azerbaijan due to contamination with landmines and other explosives. Both nations have expressed their intention to work together to address these issues through enhanced capacity building in humanitarian de-mining initiatives.
