Baku: A delegation from the Cybersecurity Center of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan has visited the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA). During this visit, the Uzbek delegation engaged in discussions with Akif Baghirov, Adviser to the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, and Elnur Eyvazli, Director of the Information and Cybersecurity Department at CBA.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting primarily focused on exchanging views to enhance the legal and regulatory frameworks necessary for effective cybersecurity. Discussions also included the practical implementation of FINCERT (Financial Computer Emergency Response Team) operations. Furthermore, various scenarios for managing cyber threats within the financial banking sector were examined to bolster the cybersecurity measures in both countries.
