Baku:Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Hasanov, met with Sacha Backes, World Bank Group Country Manager for Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring collaboration opportunities in key areas outlined in the 'Digital Development Acceleration Action Plan in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2028.'

The discussions included the World Bank's potential support for Azerbaijan's digital transformation efforts, emphasizing the development of AI-based infrastructure, data centers, and the 'Government Cloud.' They also addressed the training of cybersecurity specialists and personnel equipped with digital skills.
