Batumi: Azerbaijani weightlifters will challenge for glory at the upcoming European Championships in Batumi, Georgia. The national team will be represented by four athletes, including Tehran Mammadov (60kg), Isa Rustamov (71kg), Ravin Almammadov (79kg), and Ali Shukurlu (110kg).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the 2026 European Weightlifting Championships are set to be held in Batumi, Georgia, from 19 to 26 April 2026. The Azerbaijani squad is preparing to compete against top athletes from across Europe in the prestigious event.
