As of July 1, 2023, Azerbaijan’s foreign public debt amounted to 6,576.9 million US dollars or 10.0% of the forecasted Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for 2023, the Ministry of Finance told APA-Economics.

According to the Ministry, during the past period of the current year, taking into consideration the funds raised, fulfilled principal debt obligations, as well as differences that have happened in foreign exchange rates, the foreign public debt for July 1 of 2023 has decreased to 116,3 million US dollars or by 1,7% in absolute expression compared to the beginning of the year.
