Azerbaijan Announces Oldest Voters Registered for Upcoming Elections


LONDON — At a recent press conference, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan, Mazahir Panahov, revealed the identities of the oldest registered voters for the upcoming parliamentary elections.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the oldest female voter, Tamam Azizova, born in 1890, is registered at polling station 38 in the 78th Lankaran rural constituency. The oldest male voter, Hilal Ibrahimov, born in 1915, is registered at polling station 47 in the 28th Sabunchu Third electoral district. The CEC has made special mentions of these individuals, highlighting their continued participation in the nation’s democratic process.
