Baku: Elchin Nariman oghlu Huseynli has been recalled from his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of India, as well as several other countries in South Asia.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to appoint Elchin Huseynli as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Italian Republic. This new appointment follows his previous diplomatic service in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
