Azerbaijan Appoints New Prime Minister for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

Nakhchivan: A new Prime Minister has been appointed for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, APA's local bureau reports. The decision to appoint a new Prime Minister was made by the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the appointment of Jabbar Musayev as the new Prime Minister came after a nomination submitted by the President of Azerbaijan. The Supreme Assembly, responsible for such appointments, approved Musayev's candidacy following the President's submission.

Jabbar Musayev, before his new role as Prime Minister, served as the Head of the Executive Authority of Nakhchivan City. His appointment follows the Supreme Assembly's meeting, which was held to deliberate on the President's nomination.
