Baku: The expenses of the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) for 2026 will be approved in the amount of 266,400,000.0 manat. This approval is part of the law "On the 2026 Budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund," which was sanctioned by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the financing for these expenses will come from two main sources. The first source is the revenues of the 2026 budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund, amounting to 238,300,000.0 manat. The second source will be 28,100,000.0 manat from the reserve of the Unemployment Insurance Fund, which was created on January 1, 2026, and will be directed towards financing the expenses for the same year.

The draft law underwent discussions before it was put to a vote, leading to its adoption in the third reading.
