Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order approving the 'National Action Plan for 2027-2029 on the Development of Competition and Prevention of Monopolistic Activity,' APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Order mandates the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan to address issues arising from the plan. The State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan is tasked with coordinating the implementation of measures outlined in the National Action Plan and is required to report annually to the President on the status of their implementation.
The monitoring and evaluation of the plan's implementation will be conducted by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. This will be done at the request of the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
