BAKU: A new procedure for conducting electronic auctions of debtor property in Azerbaijan has been officially sanctioned, paving the way for a streamlined approach to the enforcement of executive documents. The initiative, signed by Farid Ahmadov, Chairman of the Board of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan and Minister, aims to modernize the process by which debtor property is auctioned electronically.
According to Trend News Agency, the newly approved document is in accordance with Articles 61 and 62 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on “Enforcement Proceedings.” It specifies the role of specialized enterprises, which are to be commissioned by enforcement officials to facilitate the sale of debtor property through electronic platforms. This approach is intended to enhance the efficiency and transparency of executing executive documents.
The Ministry’s Main Department of Legislation has been assigned the responsibility of recording this decision in the State Register of Legal Acts of the Republic
of Azerbaijan, ensuring that the new procedure is formally integrated into the nation’s legal framework.
