Baku: Azerbaijan has officially approved a strategic partnership agreement aimed at restoring Syria's education infrastructure. This initiative marks a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Education of the Syrian Arab Republic, and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the agreement, titled 'Agreement on strategic partnership for the restoration of education infrastructure in the Syrian Arab Republic,' received the formal approval through a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev. The decree mandates that once the agreement comes into effect, the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan is responsible for ensuring the implementation of its provisions.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan is tasked with notifying the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization about the completion of the necessary domestic procedures for the agreement's activation. This strategic partnership is seen as a significant step towards enhancing educational collaboration and infrastructure development in Syria.
