Baku: Azerbaijan has approved a memorandum with the United Arab Emirates regarding the organized temporary employment of a workforce. President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to facilitate this agreement, which is aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two nations in workforce employment.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Organized Temporary Employment of a Workforce between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation of the United Arab Emirates” has been officially sanctioned. The decree mandates the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan to implement the memorandum’s provisions once it comes into effect.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan is tasked with notifying the Government of the United Arab Emirates that all necessary domestic procedures for the memorandum’s activation have been completed. The memorandum was originally signed on September 16, 2025, in Shusha.
