Baku: Azerbaijan Army positions were subjected to fire from the Basarkechar direction on April 8, between 19:20 and 22:30. The Armenian armed forces units, stationed in the directions of Garaiman and Yukhari Shorja settlements of the Basarkechar region, periodically used small arms to target the Azerbaijani positions.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Azerbaijan Army units responded with adequate retaliatory measures in the mentioned directions.
