Azerbaijan Begins Implementation of Industrial Project in Khojaly District


BAKU: Azerbaijan has initiated the implementation of a new industrial project in the Asgaran settlement of its Khojaly district, as announced by Mikayil Jabbarov, the Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the State Oil Company (SOCAR) of Azerbaijan. The project is being spearheaded by Shahbulag Mining LLC, co-founded by the Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC, and aims to enhance the region’s industrial capacity and overall economic development.

According to Trend News Agency, the AzCement plant, which is central to the project, is set to have an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons. The facility is expected to provide employment for approximately 70 individuals. The establishment of this factory is anticipated to significantly bolster infrastructure and industrial growth in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, contributing to broader economic progress in the area.
