New york: On the sidelines of his working visit to New York city, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, MFA said on X account, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministers discussed the current state and future prospects of the Azerbaijan-China comprehensive strategic partnership. They highlighted the dynamic political dialogue and expanding cooperation across various sectors, including trade, transport, energy, green development, digital transformation, agriculture, education, and humanitarian spheres.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional and international developments, with a focus on cooperation within multilateral platforms. Particular emphasis was placed on joint efforts within the United Nations, Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), and other multilateral frameworks.
Both Ministers reaffirmed their shared commitment to the comprehensive partnership between Azerbaijan and China, emphasizing the mutual benefits for both nations.
