Azerbaijan has recorded 577 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers has informed.

Meanwhile, 672 people have recovered from the infection, and 9 patients have succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 610, 895 cases of infection, 587, 338 recoveries, and 8, 208 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 15, 349 people are undergoing treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 5, 757, 381 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 6, 777 today.
