In January-October of this year, 183 917 tonnes of cotton was produced in the farms in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.

This figure is 20,9% less than in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year.

In the reporting period, cotton was planted in an area of 73,7 thousand hectares that which is 26,5% less than the same figure of the previous year.
