Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, participated in the opening ceremony of the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum. The forum, held on September 16, focused on the theme 'Build Consensus on Stability and Advance Security Governance Together,' as reported by the MoD to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Beijing Xiangshan Forum is a key platform for dialogue and cooperation on international security issues. It is recognized for facilitating trust and understanding among states and promoting peaceful solutions to both regional and global security challenges.

The event is attended by senior officials from defense institutions of over 100 countries. Representatives from international organizations, think tanks, senior military officers, and experts in military and security affairs are also present. The forum is set to continue until September 17.
