Sarajevo: The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, visited Bosnia and Herzegovina, as confirmed by the Ministry of Defense to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Colonel General Hasanov met with Ms. €¦½eljka Cvijanovic, a Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting was also attended by Vilayat Guliyev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The discussions encompassed a broad range of issues of mutual interest between the two nations.

During his visit, Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, along with his delegation, paid homage at a memorial complex located in the Friendship Park. This site honors the victims of the Khojaly and Srebrenica genocides. The delegation laid a wreath at the monument as a gesture of remembrance and respect.
