Baku:Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has conveyed his condolences to Turkey's Minister of National Defense, Yasar Guler.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the condolence came in response to the death of a serviceman from the 7th Border Brigade Command in Turkey's Hakkari region. The soldier was killed by gunfire while addressing an incident involving an attempt to violate the state border.

Colonel General Hasanov expressed his sorrow over the incident, praying for the repose of the deceased's soul and extending his deepest condolences to the soldier's family. He shared in the grief of the serviceman's loved ones, wishing for the soldier's soul to rest in peace.
