Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, recently met with Colonel Salauat Khayrushev, the newly appointed military attach© of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan. The introduction took place on January 7, as reported by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense to AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Colonel General Hasanov congratulated Colonel Khayrushev on starting his service in Azerbaijan. He highlighted the foundation of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relations, which are built on friendship, brotherhood, and a rich historical heritage. The Minister expressed his wishes for the military attach©'s success in expanding military cooperation between the two nations.

Colonel Khayrushev expressed gratitude for the trust bestowed upon him and committed to strengthening the military ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan during his tenure.

The meeting also featured discussions on the current state and future prospects of cooperation in various fields, including military, military-technical, and military-educational areas. Both parties exchanged views on several other mutual interests.
