Azerbaijan Defense Minister Offers Condolences to Pakistan After North Waziristan Attack

Baku: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has extended his condolences to Pakistan following a deadly terrorist attack in North Waziristan, Pakistan. In a letter addressed to Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of the Army Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Hasanov expressed his sorrow over the incident.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from Colonel General Hasanov conveyed his sadness over the news of the attack that occurred on June 28. The attack resulted in the deaths of 13 servicemen along with numerous civilians. Hasanov condemned all forms of terrorism and offered prayers for the deceased and their families. He also wished for the recovery of those injured in the attack and prayed for the souls of the deceased to rest in peace.
