Azerbaijan Defense Minister Offers Condolences to Turkey Over Plane Crash

Baku: The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has extended his condolences to the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Trkiye, Mr. Yasar Gler. The gesture follows a tragic incident involving a ‘C130’ military cargo plane.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the military aircraft, which was traveling from Azerbaijan to Trkiye, crashed near the Georgia-Azerbaijan border. In his message, Colonel General Hasanov expressed his sorrow over the incident, stating, “I was deeply saddened by the news of the crash of a ‘C130’ military cargo plane.”

Colonel General Hasanov further conveyed his sympathies by praying for God’s mercy on the deceased servicemen and sharing in the grief of their loved ones. He extended his profound condolences to the families affected by the tragedy.
