Azerbaijan Defense Minister Sends Condolences to Pakistan Following Helicopter Crash

Baku: The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has expressed his condolences to the Chief of Army Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Chief of Defense Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. This was conveyed by the Ministry of Defense to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the condolence message was sent following the crash of a Pakistan Army Mi-17 helicopter near the city of Muzaffarabad. The crash was attributed to a technical fault and resulted in the deaths of the crew members on board.

In his message, Colonel General Hasanov expressed his sorrow over the incident, stating, "I am deeply saddened by the news that a Pakistan Army Mi-17 helicopter crashed near the city of Muzaffarabad due to a technical fault, resulting in the deaths of the crew members." He further offered prayers for the souls of the deceased and extended his deepest condolences to their families, hoping for eternal peace for the departed.
