The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has conducted a live-fire tactical exercise involving its artillery units, as part of the training agenda for 2024.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, citing the Ministry of Defense, the exercise entailed moving units from their permanent posts to designated assembly areas, where they executed tasks including seizing firing positions and preparing artillery for combat. The primary objectives of the drill were to sustain the high combat readiness of the units, enhance the skills and knowledge of military personnel, and improve the command staff’s ability to manage artillery operations effectively.
