Azerbaijan Detains Afghan Nationals for Illegal Border Crossing Attempt

Baku: Foreign nationals who attempted to violate the state border have been detained, APA reports, citing the Press Center of the State Border Service. On June 1, operational and military measures by the Horadiz Border Detachment of the Border Troops of the State Border Service led to the detention of two Afghan citizens.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the individuals, identified as Amini Del Aqa, born in 1999, and Rahimi Nazirgl, born in 2003, were caught while trying to illegally cross the state border from Iran into Azerbaijan. The authorities have initiated operational and investigative measures concerning the incident.
