Baku:Azerbaijan's State Border Service has detained four Afghan nationals attempting to illegally cross the border from Iran into Azerbaijan. The incident occurred in the "Horadiz" border detachment area, where operational and military measures were successfully implemented.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the State Border Service's Press Center confirmed the ongoing efforts to ensure reliable border protection and combat illegal migration. The detainees are identified as citizens of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The State Border Service has stated that operational and investigative measures related to the incident are continuing.
