Baku: The resettlement convoy has arrived in the village of Shukurbeyli in the Jabrayil district, the Press Service of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs told APA. According to the information, the resettlement convoy sent to its native homeland on June 17 has arrived in Shukurbeyli village. At this stage, keys to apartments were handed over to 45 families comprising 196 people in Shukurbeyli village. Representatives of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts, as well as representatives of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, attended the ceremony.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the next resettlement convoy has been sent to Shukurbeyli village of the Jabrayil district. Those relocating to Shukurbeyli village are families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings. At this stage, 45 families, totaling 196 people, have been relocated to Shukurbeyli village.
The residents expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for being surrounded by comprehensive state care. They also expressed their gratitude to the Azerbaijani Army, the soldiers and officers who liberated their lands from occupation, and wished God's mercy upon the martyrs who gave their lives on this path.
