Baku:Azerbaijan is actively pursuing the development of its artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, focusing on building the necessary national infrastructure and partnering with other countries. Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, conveyed this information to journalists.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Hajiyev highlighted Azerbaijan's strategic advantages, including its geopolitical and geographical location, and significant electricity generation potential. These factors provide a favorable foundation for the development of artificial intelligence in the country.

Hajiyev reiterated Azerbaijan's openness to international cooperation in the AI sector, underlining the nation's commitment to working with global partners to advance its technological capabilities.
