Azerbaijan Endorses New Financial Inclusion Initiative for 2027-2030

Baku: The 'State Program on Expanding Financial Inclusion in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027-2030' has received formal approval, as reported by APA. The President of Azerbaijan has signed an Order to this effect, marking a significant step towards enhancing financial inclusion in the country.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan is tasked with coordinating and supervising the measures outlined in the State Program. The Central Bank is also required to provide the President with an annual report on the progress and status of the measures implemented under the program. Furthermore, the Central Bank will address any issues that arise from the Order.

The responsibility for monitoring and evaluating the program's implementation lies with the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. This will be done under the directive of the Central Bank. Additionally, the Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the Central Bank, is charged with ensuring that the financial resources necessary for the program's execution are incorporated into the state budget forecasts for the period from 2027 to 2030.
