Azerbaijan Establishes Compliance Association to Enhance Legal and Ethical Standards

Baku: A new initiative has been launched in Azerbaijan aimed at promoting adherence to legal, ethical, and regulatory norms. The Public Union ‘Compliance Association’ was officially registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on July 10, 2025.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the main objective of the association is to encourage the adoption of advanced practices in compliance. This involves supporting the development of a compliance culture to manage ethics and risk effectively across different sectors, while also enhancing the capabilities of professional personnel.

The association was founded by experts Kamal Abdullayev, Almaz Musayeva, and Leyla Salimzadeh, who are recognized for their extensive experience and expertise in the field of compliance. The Board of Directors of the association is composed of individuals with significant experience, strategic insight, and professional decision-making abilities across various economic sectors.

The Public Union ‘Compliance Association’ intends to organize public events, trainings, and educational initiatives soon. These activities are designed to build a robust ecosystem in the field of compliance.
