Baku: The Republic of Azerbaijan has announced the establishment of a jubilee medal to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Azerbaijani National Press, which spans from 1875 to 2025. This significant development was formalized by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the newly established medal will be awarded under the authority of the Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This initiative highlights the country’s commitment to recognizing the historical importance and contributions of its national press over the past century and a half.
