Baku: New toll rates have been established for motorcycles on paid highways, the Tariff Council told APA. At today's meeting, the Council decided that the toll for motorcycles per 1 km of paid road section will be 4.65 qapiks on the Ahmadbayli-Fuzuli-Shusha highway and 5 qapiks on the M-1 Baku-Guba-Russian Federation state border highway.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, it was noted that the revenues generated from these tolls will be used, based on the approved allocation, to finance the maintenance, protection, and repair of toll highways and relevant toll stations, as well as national and local roads. The management of toll highways, along with expenses related to the design, reconstruction, and construction of roads, will also be covered by these funds.
