Azerbaijan Establishes Rules for Aircraft Crew Work and Rest Hours

Baku:A new procedure to regulate the work and rest hours of aircraft crew members operating on commercial air transport flights is being established in Azerbaijan, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the proposed amendments to the Labor Code and the Law "On Aviation" were submitted for discussion at the Milli Majlis session. The amendments define flight duty time as the period starting when a crew member reports to the airport, as determined by the aircraft operator, and ending when the aircraft comes to a complete stop after the final flight.

The draft law, which includes corresponding amendments to the Labor Code, was put to a vote and adopted during the third reading.
