Azerbaijan Expands Scope of Individuals to Be Provided with Residential Areas Under Social Rental Agreements


Baku: Azerbaijan has announced an expansion in the categories of individuals eligible for residential areas under social rental agreements. This development is outlined in an amendment to the Housing Code, which has been approved by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the amendment specifies that other citizens who meet the criteria set by legislation will now be eligible to receive residential areas from the state or municipal housing fund. These provisions aim to broaden the scope of housing support and ensure that more individuals have access to adequate accommodation through social rental agreements.
