Baku: Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, met with He Shiyou, Executive Vice President of Powerchina Resources Ltd. During the meeting, the sides hailed the fact that Azerbaijani economy's drive for diversification, innovation and transformation creates a favorable business environment for investors. The meeting highlighted that there are wide opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in the country with China's innovation-oriented investments.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting featured discussions on the implementation status of the solar power plant project implemented in the Hajigabul district carried out jointly with SOCAR Green, as well as the further steps in this regard. The parties also exchanged views on the opportunities for participation in potential investment projects in the energy sector, including renewable energy.
