Baku: Azerbaijan has exported over 2 million tons of oil to more than 10 countries in the first two months of 2023. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, citing the State Customs Committee's report, Italy led the list of importers, receiving 2,427,849.63 tons of oil, valued at $1,142,037.8 thousand.
Romania followed as the second-largest importer of Azerbaijani oil during this period, importing 286,280.92 tons worth $140,706.79 thousand. Portugal ranked third, with imports amounting to 223,549.41 tons and a value of $112,357.89 thousand.
The report indicates that these figures reflect the value of exported oil that completed customs clearance during January and February. In total, Azerbaijan exported more than 3,600,307.38 tons of oil valued at $1,704,408.42 thousand to various countries.
