Baku: Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, has sent a letter of condolence to Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, APA reports. The letter was sent in response to the tragic explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port in the city of Bandar Abbas, which resulted in a loss of lives and injuries.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Gafarova expressed her sorrow over the incident and extended her heartfelt condolences on behalf of herself and the members of the Milli Majlis. The message conveyed sympathy to the families and relatives of the victims, as well as to the entire Iranian nation affected by this tragedy.
