Baku: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, on Qatar’s national holiday. In his message, President Aliyev expressed his best wishes to the Amir and the people of Qatar, highlighting the strong ties between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the gratifying level of Azerbaijan-Qatar relations, which are founded on shared religious and cultural values, as well as brotherhood and Islamic solidarity. He expressed confidence in the continued joint efforts to further strengthen interstate relations based on mutual trust and support.

The Azerbaijani President also expressed optimism about the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, both on a bilateral and multilateral level. He conveyed his desire to fully realize this potential in the future.
