Azerbaijan Extends Quarantine Measures to Combat COVID-19 Spread

Baku: The duration of the special quarantine regime in the Republic of Azerbaijan has been extended, APA reports. The Cabinet of Ministers made a decision in this regard, aiming to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection and mitigate its possible consequences within the country. The special quarantine regime will now remain in effect until 06:00 on October 1, 2026.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the special quarantine regime was previously set to expire at 06:00 on July 1, 2026. The extension reflects ongoing efforts by Azerbaijani authorities to curb the impact of COVID-19 and ensure public health safety.
