Azerbaijan Falls Short of OPEC+ Oil Production Quota by 89,000 Barrels

Baku: In March 2025, Azerbaijan’s oil production fell short of its OPEC+ quota by 89,000 barrels per day. Azerbaijan produced a total of 76.9 thousand tons, equivalent to 580,000 barrels per day, including condensate.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan reported that out of the total production, 62.6 thousand tons, or 462,000 barrels, were crude oil, while 14.3 thousand tons, or 118,000 barrels, were condensate.

Under the OPEC+ agreement, Azerbaijan’s daily production quota is set at 551,000 barrels, equivalent to 74,259 tons, until the end of 2026. This shortfall indicates a significant discrepancy between the agreed production levels and the actual output for the month of March.
