Baku: Azerbaijan is nearing the completion of a comprehensive roadmap for the development of hydrogen energy. Javid Abdullayev, Director of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy, made the announcement at the 13th International Caspian Energy Forum, highlighting hydrogen energy as a significant future energy type, as reported by APA-Economics.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Abdullayev revealed that the selection process for a consulting company to prepare the roadmap for hydrogen production in Azerbaijan is in its final stage. The project has generated considerable interest from international consulting firms, with a shortlist already prepared and technical discussions well underway.
Abdullayev underscored that the roadmap is a crucial step in Azerbaijan’s energy strategy, aiming to position the country as a leader in renewable energy development.
