Baku: The open court hearing on criminal cases against several citizens of the Republic of Armenia, including Arayik Harutyunyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Davit Ishkhanyan, David Babayan, and Levon Mnatsakanyan, accused of severe charges, continued at the Baku Military Court. The proceedings, chaired by Judge Zeynal Aghayev, involve allegations of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, preparation and conduct of aggressive war, genocide, violation of war laws and customs, terrorism, and the financing of terrorism, among other accusations linked to Armenia’s military actions against Azerbaijan.

According to Trend News Agency, the court session on October 2 was conducted with a panel that included Jamal Ramazanov and Anar Rzayev, with Gunel Samadova as the reserve judge. The court ensured that interpreters were available for the accused in their preferred languages, and defense lawyers were appointed for their representation.

The hearing included participation from the accused, their defense attorneys, some victims, their legal heirs, and state prosecutors. The trial is set to continue on October 3, as the legal process unfolds in this significant case.
